Message Does anyone know how many were produced?

I've read all of the other posts about how people say that it would be better to buy a 95 stock for 12k and then soupe the shit out of it and you'd have a much better car at 25k. But the collector factor of the SMZ is just so much better. the other cars are just tuner cars at the end of the day right?

For the price that i'm buying this SMZ I could buy a 1999 996 porsche cabriolet (autotrader prices). by the way, just fyi for you guys, my 91z kills my carrera c2s everytime I race them against each other. i always wanted a cab. porsche. but the porsche isn't a collectors item... man all these random thoughts in my head. please someone convince me so I can get it over with and have the car shipped here!%#

here are a few pics of the 91 that I sold in 10/03.

:do you plan on doing any modifications yourself?
:If you plan to keep it all original, and just would like to have an SMZ as a collector item, then go for it.
:If you plan on doing upgrades and what not, it would ruin the value of the SMZ so in the long run it would not be a smart decision.
